L1008 Switcher/Yard Jockey – NIGHTS

Facility Logistic Services is currently hiring for one full time night shift Yard Truck Drivers/Switcher! Employees work the 2/2/3 rotation (straight nights.) Shifts are 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. This rotation allows for every other weekend off.

Job Expectations:

• Follow all safety rules and procedures set in place by OM/FLS
• Complete thorough yard truck inspection
• Conduct daily yard report detailing empty/loaded/waste/damaged trailers
• Ensure trailers are placed into docks in a timely manner
• Communicate with Warehouse Crews and Reclaim for trailer needs
• Follow all written work instructions for opening/closing trailer doors, driving, positioning truck/trailer safely
• Any additional job tasks that you are asked to perform to ensure a team effort at reaching goals and objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend oral and written instructions
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work without direct supervision on day to day tasks
• Class A CDL

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Must have adequate mobility
• Possibility of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to manually adjust trailer height with landing gear as necessary
• Must be able to work in uncontrollable weather conditions

• Keep work area orderly

$22.50 with night shift differential
