FLS Celebrates Associates with HEART
January 26, 2012When cutbacks, reductions and more have become the norm for some companies in the news, FLS has realized that it’s in such times that we need to truly support all team members, particularly in meaningful ways that celebrate fellow associates and pay homage to life’s most important moments….including those outside of the workplace.
At FLS, the HEART (Heightening Employee Awareness and Recognition Team) focuses on making new hires feel welcome, celebrating birthdays and milestones, supporting employee activities, and helping fellow associates with unexpected hardships, such as a loss of home after devastating tornadoes near FLS facilities in Lexington, NC.
Together, FLS employees have worked to make the HEART program one that personally recognizes employees and their families in small, meaningful ways that make a difference.
Whether it’s sending flowers for a birth of a child, hosting an annual Easter egg hunt for associates’ children or celebrating a holiday with small gifts, the HEART program lets FLS team members know how important they are to the company and one another…every day of the year.
